I was lurking in my hard-drive and I found a little Lord of the Rings story board I made 3 years ago, dated October 6, 2001. It had some limited circulation on the Internet, but as you can see, it somehow inspired Peter Jackson, specially the Minas Tirith scenes.
I am a _big_ JRR Tolkien fan. I admire him for his vision, he wanted a great mithology for his country (England), and he was succesful. The Middle Earth Mythos is far more rich and complex than Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey. Our modern concepts of elves, dwarves and mythical times, are Tolkien’s work. And in general, I’m quite satisfied with the movies (I just hate what they did to Gimli, reducing him as a comical relief character).
